This article is intended to educate others on the uselessness of a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
In December of 2009, I graduated from a private college with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. I chose to pursue a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice because I knew I wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement/legal studies. An exact career specialization was still in question, but I was leaning toward going to law school. What I did not know was that I was creating an educational obstacle in which the course was a complete blur.
Although the economy is in its worst state since the Great Depression, not being able to locate a job in this area is not due to the status of the economy. I am unable to put my degree to work because the degree is literally useless. In the following paragraphs, I will discuss how experience versus education, the accrual of student loans for nothing more than acquiring unbeneficial debt, and if having a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice affects entrance into law school.
